I got to meet El through Jack who I had worked with in the Marquette Kmart. When I moved to Gladstone we got reacquainted and he introduced me his lovely El. There wasn’t a day that went by when they would stop in the store and made sure we had a visit. And then we’d have our personal visit me and El and she would always say, he’s out there, you’ll find him, it took me a long time to find Jack but I did. And then we’d laugh. She will be greatly missed and I hope she is watching from above. Goodbye El.

On a farm in Rock, Michigan you spent your growing up years,
It would be in Chicago that you built a career at Sears.

While in Chicago, your brother Clarence answered your call to be your handy man,
For his loving and caring sister he wanted to say “yes, I can”.

You were always dressed in clothes of the most “up to date” fashion,
And being involved and helping others was your real passion.

The Lord would call you home at the age of ninety five on the second of May,
Together Again-Love Always-your beloved brother Clarence would say.
