Edith D. Vermullen, age 74, of 6072 18.3 Road, Gladstone, died peacefully Saturday morning April 19, 2008, at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Edith was born May 18, 1933, in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Carl and Vera (Johnson) Anderson. She was raised in Los Angeles and attended and graduated from the Los Angeles school system. Following high school, Edith continued her education and received her college degree, in California. On December 19,1954, Edith married Charles

Edith was my great-aunt. I remember spending lots of time with Aunt Edith, Uncle Chuck and Grandma at the mobile home in Huntington Beach. I remember always wanting to play in their things and they always allowed me to. I will always remember Aunt Edith as in those times. She had those “cat eye” glasses and curly reddish brown hair and I remember her always using a filter to hold her cigarettes. Aunt Edith will be dearly missed. I love you!
