Dorothy June McIntyre, age 95, of Gladstone, passed away Thursday morning, February 16, 2023 at Christian Park Village.

Dorothy was born March 17, 1927 in Gladstone, the daughter of Emil and Pearl (Woodard) Rothschild. She was united in marriage to Frank McIntyre.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Peter (Dianna) McIntyre and Pat (Cheryl) McIntyre, both of Gladstone; grandchildren,Terri (Mike) Klein, Alychia (Tom) Boggs and Kyle (Bailey Shepeck) McIntyre; great grandchildren, Makayla, Hayden, Amaya and Parker and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her parents, husband, Frank, daughter, Sharon (Paul) Ecklund, brothers, Melvin and John Rothschild and sisters, Clara Rothschild, Pearl Curtis, Helen Holm, Beatrice Donaldson, Verna Verhamme and Alice Creten.

Graveside services for Dorothy will be held in the Fernwood Cemetery in the Spring and will be announced by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.

    Pete and Pat so sorry to here of your mother passing. I am glad I was able to stop this past summer and talk and catch up with her
    while I was in town. I remember being young and spending a lot of time there with all of you when grandma was still there. I know you guys don’t remember grandpa but I do and I remember her in his big garden weeding with him and then picking fresh vegetables
    because she always had a pot of vegetable soup on the stove. She was always nice to me and always made me feel special when I was there. Its hard to think that the last of that generation of the family has passed.

    So sorry to her the news of you mom. We have some very special memories from when we lived across the street. She was always such a sweet lady. Cherish all the memories & hold them close to your heart.

    I’m sorry for your loss. I sure do miss coming over every morning to make her breakfast. She was one of my favorites.

I have nice memories of your mom she was always smiling no matter what was going on She and my mom were close and we came to see Grandma Mac she always made us feel welcome to bad we all lost touch with each other but I will always remember her as a wonderful person she in heaven with a crown I am sure .God Bless !

    So sorry for her loss. I have been thinking of when Sharon, Paul and I came up for the Fourth of July and lighting fireworks and Pat & Cheryl’s house. Plz accept my deepest sympathy.
