17 Tributes for “Dorothy Kaufman

Laurie, It was such a pleasure to have met your Mom and to visit occasionally with her when I’d stop to see you. She certainly had a full and productive life. You have my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to the family Lippensps
    I make a family tree.
The geat-grandparents of Mr Patrick are Mr and Mrs Joseph and Clementine Beck. They emigrated in 1903 from Belgium to Kipling MI. I am looking for a picture of them. The key to find are Mr Patrick’s mother Mary
Smith and her sisters Helen, Rosalie and Theresa Smith. I’m thankfull for any information.

Dear Laurie, Luis and all your family…I’ve known Dorothy all my life…she was not only married to the most wonderful Milk Man…she was one of my great Aunts best friends….the person who worked miracles on our clothes and was always so dear and thoughtful.God Bless you all. Peace in your hearts.

Mike, Laurie, what a terrific mom you had. So many memories of her, driver her crazy mostly. My thoughts are with you.

Hugs to my neighbor family. Dorothy’s physical body just couldn’t keep up with her loving mind and spirit. Ask Laurie how I gave Dorothy a tour of my remodeled basement when she couldn’t get out of her chair. I would always show her pictures of my flower gardens that she was unable to see or occasionally bring her some. She brought me muffins on the day I moved in over 8 years ago, and we have had a wonderful neighbor relationship ever since. Rest in Peace, you will be missed!

To the entire Kaufman family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. The Kaufman home, was a home for all of the kids that were friends of the Kaufman kids. Bill and Dorothy made each and every one of us feel welcome, not an easy thing for most people, but this came natural to Bill and Dorothy. I loved them both.

My sympathy to the entire family, especially my classmate, Wayne. I remember Mrs Kaufman well. Never forget the summer playing cards and…. Above the new garage behind the family home. She always had a friendly smile for that band of idiots.

Will ALWAYS be loved and missed !!!!! It is my honor to have known you and had you in my life !! Now you can have the biggest patch of sun flowers ever !!!!!! Love ya’ with all my heart !!

We want to extend our sympathy to all the Kaufman family over the loss of your Mom and grandmother. Bill was our wonderful milk man back in the early 70’s and I had the Kaufman kids as students. I didn’t get to know Dorothy except at parent teacher conferences but she and Bill made a wonderful life together. You all have wonderful memories of both of your parents and growing up in Gladstone.

    Laurie:
So sorry to hear the sad news, my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I first met Dorothy (Dot), over 20 years ago – when I met Ford. She sent homemade cards for every occasion – birthday, Christmas, Easter – long before Martha Stewart made crafting cool. Dot inspired me to try my hand at it – especially for graduations. Kids love them. Thank you Dot! You happily made a lot from little – a great role model.

Laurie and Family, I was truly saddened to hear about your dear mom passing away. Your mom was the greatest, she was such a good friend to my Aunt and Uncle and was always cooking something good to eat and sharing or doing something clever with my family and others. My mom and I have many great memories of hanging out with your mom and dad at my Aunt and Uncle’s or their home. I know that they are all now at peace in Heaven, and probably playing cards and having a good time with many good laughs! I will miss her and her kind ways and quick wit. Sorry that I missed the funeral, but being up in Hancock in the snow country makes it next to impossible to travel at this time of year. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
