Dorothy Ellen Hardwick, age 76, of Escanaba, passed away Wednesday December 19, 2012 at the Pine Haven Rest Home in Gladstone.
Dorothy was born December 10, 1936 in Brampton, MI the daughter of William and Flora (Lee) Jones. Dorothy was united in marriage to William Hardwick on October 20, 1960 in Brampton. They moved to Neenah, WI in 1965 where Dorothy worked in a furniture factory. She returned to Escanaba in 1980 following the death of William on December 3, 1979.
Dorothy loved to play Bingo and she was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Survivors include:
Sons: Wayne A. (Tonya) Hardwick, Jeffery Hardwick, Dean (Mary) Hardwick, and Allen Hardwick, all of Escanaba.
Daughters: Judy Dominick of Cumberland, WI, Elsie (Wendall Sr.) LaPalm, of Escanaba and Kayleen (Victor) Briggs of Iron Mountain, MI
Sisters: Carol (David) King of Escanaba and Doris Dahn of Gladstone.
14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Myron Jones, sisters, Evelyn Caswell and Goldie
