So sorry to hear of Dorothy’s passing. She was a wonderful lady. I missed getting her birthday card out on the 14th. and had just written a short note after hearing from Sharon that she was at Christian Park. She will be missed by many.

Oh, Dorothy, my childhood memories are filled with YOU, your warm laugh, your loving ways, your good humor. You were the first to cut my bangs! I often got to visit you, sometimes for a day or two while Mom and Dad were away, and you let me enjoy the canary in the gilded cage that we would wind up and then listen to the bird’s song. You provided the soundtrack for our old Sunday School! You fit my wedding dress, you adjusted my veil on my wedding day. The stories go on and on. Everyone shall miss you, and I hope you have found your happiness and eternal peace in the Heaven in which I know you are. Lots of love to you and yours.

Dot & Don lived 3 doors down from my parents home. the introduced me to the covenant church when I was a young girl. over the years we did many special things together. when I had my first child I asked them to be her godparents. they were such special people to me and my family. It comforts me to know that they will now be together in heaven. I will never forget all they have done for me…may they rest in peace. XOXOX
