Donna Vonne Franklin, 7828 41 Pt 5 Road in Rapid River/Osier passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010, at Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
She was born September 14, 1938, in Manistique, and was the daughter of Florence (Bennett) and Arnold (Mickey) McMillan.
Donna attended Northern Michigan University earning her Bachelor in Science degree in Dietetics. In 1994 she graduated with her Master

Donna was my EN101 instructor in college about 5 years ago. She was a wonderful woman and teacher. I enjoyed her lectures, she always had a sense of humor. My sympathy goes out to her family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Hi, This is Loretta Briere’s (Brown) daughter Kimberly. We recently found out about the passing of my mom’s dear friend Donna. My mother had a stroke in Sept of 2009. She has been staying with me in Colorado. She’s feels awful that she will not be able to attend the services. She has spoken highly of Donna throughout the years.
