David Karl Swanson, age 58, of Menominee passed away at home on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
David was born July 27, 1964 in Escanaba, the son of Nels and Nina (Malnar) Swanson. He graduated from the Escanaba High School in 1982. He was a welder for Northern Fab in Menominee and enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, cooking, smoking meat and barbequing. He loved spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren and was an avid Michigan Wolverine and Detroit sports fan.
David is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Swanson of Menominee, step-son, Tyler (Jen) Clement of Menominee, granddaughters, Harper and Emerson, step grandson, Zeke, his mother, Nina Swanson of Gladstone, siblings, Teri (Jim) Carlson of Escanaba, Ted (Carol) Swanson of Gladstone, Tammy (Bob) Carlson of Escanaba and Diane (Erik) Barnhart of Escanaba, numerous nieces and nephews and the mother of Tiffany and Tyler, Michele Swanson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Swanson family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
