It is with sadness we announce the death of David Jon Larson, Sr. at the age of 68.
He was born May 15, 1955 in Ishpeming to Edwin and Taimi Larson and passed away on August 8, 2023 at Murray’s Country View in Gladstone.
David was married and divorced to Debbie (Davenport) Larson. They had one child David Larson Jr, and two grandchildren Dominic and Jaden. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen (Larson) Baecotte. He is survived by two brothers Steven and Michael.
David was raised in the Soumi location and was in his teens when his family moved to Plover, WI and then to Lansing. He was employed with Meijer Food Stores in Lansing at age sixteen and was there for thirty years. He also worked at Jacks in Harvey until he retired in 2014.
Per David’s request there will be no public services, rather the family will get together at a later date at the family cabin in Gwinn. Peace and God be with him and you. The Skradski Funeral Homes are assisting the Larson family.
