Daniel Leroy Pardee, age 61, of Gladstone passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2011 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Daniel was born August 23, 1949 in Garden, Michigan, the son of Perry and Margaret (Willis) Pardee. He was united in marriage to Rose Burnard on November 23, 1968 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells. Daniel was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone and drove truck for Niagra Logistics. Daniel was a hardworker and a great provider. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Rose of Gladstone, three daughters, Sandra (Charles) Herzog of Gladstone, Paula (Ryan) Jordan of St. Petersburg, FL, and Tammy (Brady) Perry of L’Anse, eight grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley and Michelle Gaus, Dylin and Breanna Godfrey, Brady and Jasmine Perry and Anna Lindquist, one great granddaughter, Izabella Rose, five brothers Peter, Gary, Roger (Pam), John (Connie) and Perry “Tim” (Ronda), eight sisters, Agnes Pardee, Beverly (Ron) Warrick, Evelyn (Rodger) Deno, Anna May Nikzany, Patricia Lynch, Lillian Pardee, Darlene Rodgers and Linda Lingastrom and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Danielle Morris, his parents and a brother Larry Pardee.
Daniel’s family will recieve friends on Thursday, July 28 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Ronald Timock officiating. A luncheon will be served immediately following services in the All Saints Church fellowship hall. Daniel will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.

I believe my Husband Leroy Daniel Willis was a cousin of Daniel’s. My Husband of almost 36 years died recently 6/16/2011 of Lung Cancer. So Sorry for your Loss as well. What is interesting is they shared the same names but backwards. God Bless your Family at this time
