We are so sorry to hear about Carrie. I have no words of wisdom but perhaps this poem may help.

We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, it broke our hearts to lose you. The day God called you home, you did not go alone for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannnot see you, you are always by our side, our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again…

    Dear Roberts Family,

I was saddened to hear about Carrie. I have fond memories of Carrie from long ago. I recall her smile and laughter. She was friendly when she surely didn’t need to be (even to her little brothers friends).

Your family is in our prayers during this time. I pray for God’s strength and peace.

Carrie was one of the most honest, caring persons I have had the pleasure of knowing. We chatted a lot at lunch time at work. Talking about things we have done and seen. There was never a conversation in which she did not mention her kids. She was always so proud of them. I know she is looking down on us all and she knows how much we love her. May she rest in peace. My condolences to the entire family.

Carrie was a special young woman who loved her children better than her own life. I worked with her for seven and a half years at Wal-Mart. She was a pleasure to work with. She was a hard worker who gave back to all of us who were around her.

Carrie will be sadly missed by all of those of us who have enjoyed her presence for so long. My prayers go out to the family.

I was so saddened to hear of Carrie’s death. Although we lost touch in recent years, we always chatted when we saw each other at Wal-Mart. I know how proud she was of her children and my prayers go out to them! I will always remember the fun times we had during our college years. My prayers are with you all,

My name is Michelle, I work in the Sand Hill Office. Carrie was a tenant at Sand Hill…Ive worked here for many, many years, and Carrie was by far one of my favorites…She was the most careing Mother to her two children, I’ve seen. She was in the office, just before her surgery, very concerned about getting her rent affairs taken care of, before she left. Things were so up in the air about when she’d be back to work, and her recovery time…I told Carrie, not to worry about all that and to just get better…She was very excited about getting done with the surgery and hopeing to feel good again…We have lost a wonderful assest to our Sand Hill Community…My heart goes out to her family, I am so sorry for your loss. Please be the strenght to her children they will need. My God Bless you all.

Sorry for you lost… please my sympathy to my two cousins to.

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn?s rain.
When you awaken in the morning?s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

I remember many great times with Carrie during our high school years. She helped make endless hours on the bus more enjoyable. She was bright, kind, and a good friend to me.

In recent years we were brought together again through our children and shared the joy of watching them together on the basketball court and the stage. Her love for her children was unmatched. I am very sad for their loss.

I wish the family peace during this difficult time.

Carrie was always smiling and took time to stop to say hello and chat for a bit. She was friends with my daughter Jennifer, so I’ve known her for several years. She someimes stopped by our house with the kids and she got a kick out of my little dogs, though Nick was afraid of them. Jennie, my granddaughter Haley, Carrie and Cassie would have “girls night out”, lots of fun for them. Carrie was so excited about Jennie’s baby, due in September, I’m sure she’ll be watching from Heaven when the time comes. I’ll miss Carrie’s smile and easy laugh, my deepest sympathies are with her entire family. She will live on in the memories of those who loved her.

    Dear Roberts Family,

As an old friend of Carrie’s, I want to give you my sincere condolences of your loss. Carrie was a great friend and had beautiful children that I am greatful to have known. Although time and distance separated us, Carrie was always in my heart and in my memories and I know she’s looking down at all of us and finally knows that we all loved her very, very much. I have many corny photos of her and yearly ones of the kids from every Christmas greeting card. She was part of my wedding party and graced me by just knowing her. Her memory will live on in my household and in my heart.
