Cameron John Delveaux, age 5, of 2702 5th Avenue West, Gladstone, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning June 15, 2011 at home in the arms of his mom and dad following a brave one year battle with brain cancer.
Cameron was born May 15, 2006 in Marquette the son of John Michael and Jennifer Marie (Collins) Delveaux. He was raised in Gladstone with his younger brother Bryce and dog, Ace.
Cameron adored his little brother and enjoyed playing with him. Cameron was proud to be an Honorary Officer for Gladstone Public Safety and took his job very seriously. He also enjoyed listening to stories, building things, driving his Gator and playing with his train set. Cameron loved to be outside playing in the mud, swimming, fishing, going to camp, exploring and shoveling. He especially loved spending time with his Nanas and Papas.
Cameron was a sweet, loving boy who was adored by all who knew him. His big brown eyes and warm smile made every day brighter. Cameron brought laughter with his sense of humor and wit even during difficult times. He loved God and demonstrated a strong faith throughout his journey and is now in the arms of his Heavenly Father.
In addition to his parents, John and Jen, and brother, Bryce, survivors include maternal grandparents, Bruce and Cindy Collins of Gladstone and paternal grandparents Steve and Patty Delveaux of Gladstone. Great Grandparents Harold
