Jim and Betty Murphy were central figures in my young adult life. The friendliness and generosity they displayed, in and out of Murph’s Bar, was always a welcomed site. Betty and Jim you are missed.

A lady of inspiration with a kind word for all. She motivated us with a sense of adacity and a geniune opinion. You quickly learned from her to treat others with good old fashion kindness and honesty.
She taught us to be individuals too, maybe to be a little stubborn at times and always with good reason and rhyme.

With great hope for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they too will carry on a tradition of helping others as they have helped you.

If everyone had a Mom and Grandmother like Betty, a better world it would be.

Grandpa Murph is finally joined in Heaven; Oh the lepricans are now smiling and dancing the jig.
Oprah and Dr Phil could’nt write a better script of life than the lessons learned from Betty and Jim. God Bless your Soul.

Grandma was a wonderful, caring, giving, and loving grandma. We have many fond memories of times spent together. Her brave and courageous way; her smile, her laugh. Grandma, be our guardian angel and look over us always!

What a special person Betty was. I will always remember her kindness and love of a good story. Although I knew Betty better as a supplier of libations, she was truely a kind and thoughtful woman. The kids had a great role model.
