    To Betty’s Family,

I have had so much fun with Betty, John, Meg, Len, Melvin and Joanne. What a laugh she brought to all around her! I am thankful I was part of her life. I can hear her laughter resonate thru my mind and see her twinkling eyes. I send you my regards. I know you will all miss her.

In the 13-14 years we’ve known Betty, she has been a well-found friend. An accidental set of circumstances led to our knowing her in a wonderful way. We will miss her.

She had a fun-filled sense of life, and not only an affection for John but also for chocolate covered custard filled bismarcks from Mr. Do-Nut.

Many a cup of coffee was enjoyed in her kitchen with either the donuts or her famous home-made cookies.
