Betty J. Jozaitis, age 71, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at her home in Escanaba.
Betty was born June 16, 1942, in Powers, MI, the daughter of Walter and Bernice (Marvin) Jozaitis Sr. Betty was raised in Powers and Cedar River, MI before moving with her family to Menominee, MI, where she graduated from the Menominee High School in 1960. Betty was employed as a secretary for Emerson Electric in Menominee. She later relocated to Escanaba and eventually accepted a secretarial position, at St. Anne Church, where she remained for 19 years. In addition, Betty was employed by her brother Robert at Gold Star Tours until her retirement.

Brother: Robert (Evelyn) Jozaitis of Escanaba, MI
Nephew: Jared Jozaitis of Fond Du Lac, WI
Niece: Jane (Brandon) Massio of Green Bay, WI
Great Nephews: Blaine and Brace Massio of Green Bay, WI
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Sr. in 1967 and Bernice in 2002:
Brothers: Richard in 1986 and Walter Jr. in 2011
Sister in law: Margaret Jozaitis

Betty always had a friendly smile when we would happen to meet up where ever it was, always willing to help you out if needed however & whenever she could !! We first got to meet her when I did some tour guiding on Goldstar busses, always enjoyed sharing lots of stories with her too!! We extend our deepest sympathy to the Jozaitis family, we are in Az visiting family till Tuesday so unable to make it to her funeral !! Mays Gods loving arms surround you all !!!
