Bertha (Bea) Berg, 81, passed away at home February 7, 2013 after battling a number of health issues for several years.

Born January 18, 1932, Bea was the 12th of 13 children born to Louis and Mary (Oberstar) Lustick of Trenary. Bea graduated from Trenary High School in 1950. Following high school she worked as a nurses

    I worked at JC Penneys and had a lot of visits with your Mom, what a sweet lady.We use to have our little visits when she would come in , I though she was so kind. I will miss seeing her.

    So sorry to hear about this. As you all know “Bert” was a second Mother to me and one of the greatest people ever. I remember those cookies well, and all the times her and I would talk sports, she was truly a wonderful person.
    I don’t think we will be able to make the funeral but your all in our thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if there is anything we can do.

    Dear Mike, I am so sorry to hear about the death of your mother. I only met her a few times over the years, and she always greeted me as if I was a long lost friend–a very kind soul indeed.

    Mrs. Berg will always be remembered by Eric and Roxanne as one if the warmest most kind moms we’ve ever known. Whenever we went over to our friend Dave’s’ house, we were spoiled with homemade goodies always served with a smile and so many kind words of advice or wisdom!! Your entire family were always kind and courteous toward us – Mr. & Mrs. Robert Berg you raised a wonderful family and we know your endless ” catchy” kindness always served with a warm smile are the memories we will cherish forever. We were truly blessed to have known “Dave’s” mom or Mrs. Berg!! Our deepest condolences are extended to you , Dave and your family to have lost such a wonderful mom, mother- in-law, wife, grandma, aunt and friend.     Jim, We are sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. We only knew her for a short time while she was my mother’s roommate at Christian Park but found her to be a very kind and friendly lady. Our condolences go out to you and your family.

    Dear Mike, Mr. Berg, Jim, Bob, and David:
    I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your wife and mom. May God comfort you in your sorrow at this time. I have many fond memories of visiting with her and your Dad at your home in Gladstone. She was a very nice, gentle lady.
