Bernice M. Valentine, age 98, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning May 26, 2010, at the Christian Park Health Care Facility, where she has resided since 2003.
Bernice was born January 8, 1912, in Gladstone, the daughter of Orville and Neoma (Brown) Hoover. Following graduation from the Newberry Senior High School, Bernice went on to attend Michigan State University. On March 7, 1931, Bernice was united in marriage to the late Alfred H.
