Benjamin F. Clark, age 77, passed away Saturday evening, March 1, 2014, at his home in Rapid River.

Ben was born January 22, 1937, in Piqua, OH, the son of Harold W. and Frances (Irwin) Clark. He was raised in Dayton, OH and attended the Kaiser High School. At the age of seventeen, Ben went to work at Shannon Buick Dealership before enlisting in the United States Army where he served from 1957 to 1959. Following his discharge, Ben returned to Dayton where he gained employment at White-Allen Chevrolet. On March 11, 1961, Ben was united in marriage to the former Linda Iiames, in Indiana, and together the couple made their home and raised their family in Dayton. Ben continued working for White-Allen Chevrolet, in the Parts and Service Department, until his retirement in 1995 following thirty eight years of employment. He and Linda then relocated to Rapid River where they have resided for the past nineteen years. Ben had a great passion for fishing. In addition, he enjoyed camping and attending his daily
