Scott, Cindy and family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. A loss of a mother is a very difficult thing. Please be comforted by Jesus Christ, he is only a whisper away. Love you guys

Dear Tom, I was deeply saddened to read of your Mother’s passing. She was such a lovely person who always had a smile on her face. Not sure if you recall how I met your Mom. I had done some work on your 1956 Ford at the Standard service station on Lake Shore Drive and mentioned to you that I has always wanted to learn to fly. The next day you Mom stopped by the station to buy gas and invited me to stop by the airport and I could go flying that same day!! Your Dad took me up and I started taking lessons. My first logbook entry was made by your Dad on 11/1/1963. I have many great memories of your parents over the years I lived in Escanaba and after moving out of town I would stop by and visit them at the farm. I miss them both.

Wayne & family–It was a pleasure to have known Anita through the Rock Senior Center. I so enjoyed her sense of humor & her positive outlook on life. Comforting thoughts & prayers to you… –hugs– Lisa & Mark Mleczewski

I used to take care of Mary at Northwoods. She was always fun to be around. Mary made a few blankets for my daughter and they are very beautiful. She will be forever missed and loved.

Randy and Lynn, I am sorry to hear your Mom passed away. I always remember her playing in the guitar masses with Janet Patton at St. Joseph’s church way back when. Peace to your family.

To Anita’s family , you were blessed to have had Anita in your life. We grew up together in north town , Webster school, St Thomas church family and graduated from HNHS. At our high school reunions she entertined us with her music and jokes. She was smart, funny and kind. You are fortunate to have a treasure chest filled with wonderful memories to share. I am sorry for your loss.

Remember Anita as a classmate; but, later when we would return to the Escanaba area for Holy Name Reunions, enjoyed Anita’s play late into the night at Kathy’s house parties. She and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless this nice lady.

Dear Cheryl, Wally and Family. So sad to hear Anita passed on. So many memories of her and your family. I think of Mary all the time and in turn think of all of you. My heartfelt prayers are with you all. You now have one more angel looking over all of you. Audrey King Mariani

It’s a very sad day indeed, I spent many weekends at the airports in Escanaba and W. Gladstone with my parents (Jack & Shirley Halvorsen) when I was a kid in the 70’s Jon and Lorayn were both very special in my memories, they will be greatly missed, and fondly remembered.

Dear Family, Please find some comfort in knowing that “Uncle” Matt has been met at heaven’s gates by our Lord and also his Ma and Pa, Mike and Albert. There will be dancing in heaven tonight…..some day hopefully we will join in with love. Carol & Dave too!

I remember Aunt “Dottie” and her loving care of foster children and her wonderful laugh. So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Haynes family get-togethers during childhood years.Dayle Haynes McGarvie

Thanks for helping me get started in a lifetime of aviation memories! You and Jon help many
people in the area get their start in aviation.
Always a pleasure to see you behind the desk
and Jon taking his daily nap.

To the Majestic Family,We are so sorry to learn of Matt’s death. He was a fine man and we enjoyed so much being with him at activities at St. Charles Parish. He contributed much to the parish family through his volunteer activities. He was such a kind man and always had a good attitude about everything. We are going to miss him. Distance prohibits us from sharing our condolences personally at this time but know of our presence both in spirit and prayer with all of you. Know, too, of our fondest best wishes and warmest regards.
