Jeff, I am deeply sorry to hear of the sudden & heartbreaking loss of your dad. I wish I were able to attend the service on Friday to express my condolences in person.
I will always treasure the day Jeff called his dad to ask on my behalf to ask how to make rutabaga for Thanksgiving, and Glenn was so helpful and enthusiastic–it made my day.
I wish I could help your aching hearts–please know that I am holding you all close. My deepest sympathy to the entire King family.

Glen was one of the funniest, most witty people that I ever knew. His laughter was from the heart and always genuine! Growing up he was “the big brother” and played the role (s) of Mother and Father to the younger siblings after they’d passed. He will be missed by so many, a talented and loving man gone too soon…fly high Glenny

Remembering the good times when we were younger and carefree:
Glen gave me my first driving lesson (and the only one he gave me)halfway down our side road and about 50 ft on the main road when I heard “stop I’ll drive-“-I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to move the wheel back and forth??
The many Sunday afternoon trips to town to get our “last” xtra lg ice cream sundae before we started our diets every Monday.
The trips he took to GB with my Mom and sisters when I was in beauty school so I could get my quotas in- (maybe that’s why he lost his hair on top)- the scalp treatments were supposed to work!
The times he helped move me in and out of my apartments
Last but not least the Easter basket with “chocolates”he sent( unbeknown to me)- he paid a little neighbor boy to pick rabbit turds from his barn-
And then we grew up…… Thanks for some good memories Glen!
