William E. Isaacson

Resided in Escanaba, MI
Died October 3, 2020

William E. “Bill/Lumpy” Isaacson, age 66, of Escanaba, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Angel’s Touch Assisted Living in De Pere. Bill battled through many complications after suffering a stroke in November of 2018, but he maintained his sense of humor, quick whit, and a laugh that everyone will remember.

Bill was born January 26, 1954 in Sault Ste.Marie, Michigan, the son of William and Alice (Kirby) Isaacson. He graduated from high school and continued on to earn an Associates Degree from Lake Superior State University. He went to work for the Plumber and PipeFitters Local 111 where we worked until retirement.

Bill had a love for sports, especially watching the Wolverines (Go Blue!), Lions, and Race Day. His children and especially his grandchild were the light of his life until the end.

Bill is survived by his mother Alice, as well as daughters Sara (Mark) Bake and Krysta (Geo Amadi) Isaacson both of Green Bay, brother Kirby (Debbie) Isaacson of Whitling, IN, sisters Kristi (Rich) Guimond and Lori (Corey) Strickland both of Sault Ste.Marie, grandchildren Isaac and Mara Bake, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Isaacson.

Private services for Bill will be held at the convenience of the family. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Isaacson family.
