William ‘Bill’ G. Marchese

William G. Marchese, age 66, of Gladstone, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at Aurora Bay Medical Center in Green Bay, WI.

Bill was born April 19, 1955, in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of William and Ella Grace (Robidoux) Marchese. He graduated from Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores. Bill enlisted into the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War era. He was honorably discharged in 1977. Bill was a beautician for several years downstate. He was the perming king of Detroit.

Bill was united in marriage in 1989 to Toni Marmalick at Memorial United Methodist Church in Gladstone.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He was an agate rock picker and enjoyed woodworking. He also loved spending time with his grandkids.

Bill enjoyed going to the casino. His favorite place to be was his family camp in Newberry on Kelly Lake.

Bill was a wonderful Dad and known for his keen listening skills and helpful advice. He will be deeply missed.

Brother-in-laws: Bill (Pauline) Marmalick Escanaba, MI
Tim (Julie) Marmalick of Wyoming, MN
Sister-in-law: Jeanne (Dave) Wescott of Rapid River, MI
Grandchildren: Amelie, Hazel, Whilloe, Elora, Jemma
Very Special Friend: George Alexander
And several Nieces and Nephews and Cousins.

Sister-in-law: Beth Robinson

Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military Honors will be presented at 3:00 PM by the Gladstone American Legion Post 71. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM at the Memorial United Methodist Church in Gladstone with Pastor Cathy Rafferty officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Marchese family.

    Jess – my heart is broken with you on such a significant life loss. Know that you are so supported and so loved. I love you!!

    My condolences to the family. Bill was an experienced technician and highly regarded within our bank. Bill was always friendly, patient, and took time to research and resolve technical issues. I considered Bill a friend and he will be missed. Gods blessings to the whole family.

It’s so hard and doesn’t really get any easier but I know you are a super strong woman. He lives in your heart forever.     Toni so sorry for the of your husband,it is a hard thing to go through but it will slowly get easier! Trust in God and prayers they work!
