Wesley James Rein, age 12, of Gladstone passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 as a result of four wheeler accident.

Wesley was born December 21, 2001 in Escanaba, the son of Dale and Hollie (Andersen) Rein Jr. Wesley Rein was a normal 12 year old boy. A normal boy with hopes and plans to play football, get good grades in school, play with his friends all summer, eat ice cream, and build his trailer for his 4 wheeler. But Wes was also more than that. Much more than that. He was a 12 year old that saved up and paid half for his own chainsaw. He loved working in the woods with his Grandpa Rein. He loved to drive big equipment, tractors and skidders and anything else with a motor. Wes at the age of 12, knew more about hard work than many well older than him. He was a genuine

    I believe Wesley to be absent from the body and present with the Lord just as 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 states. God bless you and comfort you at this very sad time in your life.

    I did not know Wesley, but I am deeply sorry to his family for this terrible loss. I, too, lost my son in a car accident, 32 years ago today. (June 26th) My heart goes out to all of you.

    I remember his laugh. His laugh in the hallways and his laugh in the classroom, His laugh summed up into a million words and feelings. I’ll never forget him or his laugh.

    Wesley you ill be missed by all. I will always remember the wet willys you gave me when I went to your Grandma and Grandpas house. You and your family are in our prayers. Love Uncle Bob and Auntie Christy.

    I was his speech-language pathologist in his early elementary grades. Wesley was the sweetest, kindest boy and I remember well his cute little smirk!! My heart is with you, as I too, have lost a little boy. Many prayers are with you, draw strength!

    What a beautiful tribute. Wesley was a student of mine in first grade. He had the sweetest smile and was one of the nicest kids you would ever meet. Heaven may have a new angel, but we lost one here on Earth. May God protect you, Wesley, and watch over your family and friends at this difficult time. Prayers for comfort and peace.

    I do not know you or your family but this is truely sad to read having a 14 year old I can not imagine the pain all I can do is pray for you and your family that God will see you through my blessing too all
