Uncle Skip, I love you so much and I will never stop missing you. I could have never asked for a more wonderful uncle. To know you was to love you. I am so happy that I had you in my life for thirty-three years. You never judged us regardless of all of our flaws; you loved us for who we are. You opened your heart and home to everyone you met. You and Aunt Rose let me stay with you when my cross was too much to bear. I have been truly blessed. May you rest in peace dear Uncle. We will meet again someday in paradise. I love you.

Jesus is welcoming home one of His own; I miss you always Skip, the best oldest brother anyone could have had; I know you worry about Rose, but since we adopted her as a full fledged sister we will be sure to care for her too.. God received one of his best works when Skip came home from this earthly home; Skip has always impacted everyone he met; such a loving caring man, always be in my heart.. love you so much dear brother, and your passing so peacefully was a gift to remember your gentle soul! God, let him rest a bit from his long journey of his illness; I know all of our loved ones that have gone on before rejoice in his coming Home! I will love you always Skip, our hearts carry an empty spot where feelings of grief are, but soon a scar will form with your name on it; ‘bestest’ oldest brother in the world! All who knew you were blessed by just meeting you! Love you always! Lord, thank you for bringing my brother home peacefully at the end; our LOVE will continue as we carry on, but your physical presence will always be missed! Yet we all know you are in such peace and watching over us, (don’t fight with Elvis; not your fault you looked like him; and you can also sing! 🙂 (Skip would always make you laugh!) Love always dear brother! Always in my heart! You are missed so very much!!

I am sorry to say that I never got a chance to meet Mr. Anderson, but I went to school with his sons. If you could judge a man by the men his sons became , Mr. Anderson must have been a spectacular person, because his sons are pretty amazing people! I am so sorry for your loss, but I just wanted you to know that he touched the life of a person he never even met. I feel lucky for knowing even a small portion of his family. I am sorry for your loss.
