Dear Auntie Vi…I want to thank you for keeping me from ‘turning into a fish’, all my special memories at the lake, all those ‘last’ birthday parties you gave Uncle Percy (allowing for great family get togethers), sending me out on the boat to ‘keep and eye’ on the men (and getting an education in the process), letting me sit in (quietly) on the smear games (more education), teaching me how to dry glasses without leaving lint, the importance and rewards of respecting my elders, how the love of an Auntie can make you feel so special encouraging me to pass it on to my own nieces/nephews….and most important, the love of nature and all things ‘wild’ and the importance of ‘comfort’ food!! I love you and will miss till the day I see your sweet face/smile again…
