Vera Mae (Waeghe) Thompson, age 91 of Rapid River, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Vera was born on October 25, 1932 in Wyandotte, MI the daughter of Roland and Lena (Rushlow) Clark. She was a proud supporter of the VFW, and the president of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 1136 in Wyandotte from 1979 until 1981. She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors.
Vera is preceded in death by Husbands, Charles Waeghe and Jim Thompson.

Children: Charles P. Waeghe, Linda Anderson, Gerald Waeghe, and Charlene Sowards.
9 Grandchildren and many great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
In keeping with Vera’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Thompson family.
