Gladstone, MI
Vera M. Foster, age 90, of Gladstone, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 18, 2014, at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. Vera had resided at the Christian Park Health Care Facility for the past nine months.
Vera was born, July 30, 1923, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of her loving mother, Cora Louise Watkins, whom preceded her in death when Vera was at the tender age of 10 years old. Vera was raised primarily in Alpena, MI where she attended school. On August 5, 1950, Vera was united in marriage to Harlond T. Foster, in Detroit, and together the couple eventually moved to Trenary, following Harlond

Our sympathy and prayers to Harlond, Janis and families. I still think of the light lemon/ graham cracker dessert your Mom used to make and have yet to find a recipe that comes close to it.
