Timothy Allen Seger, age 61, of Gladstone passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Tim was born June 11, 1962 in Escanaba, the son of James and Beatrice (Vanderlinden) Seger. He graduated from the Gladstone High School in 1980.He worked for the Bay de Noc Lure Company in Gladstone for 43 years. He served on the Brampton Volunteer Fire Department for 32 years. He constructed a tanker truck for the department from scratch. He was a member of the United Evangelical Church in Gladstone, often serving in the kitchen,a member of the Brampton Lions Club receiving the Humanitarian Award and volunteered for the Run for Joe Fundraiser every year.
Tim is survived by his son, Paul Seger, daughter, Elzaddie Seger, brothers, Jeff (Carol) Seger and Gordon Seger, sisters, Tina Tosten and Sue (Jay) Kelly, step-mother, Betty Lou Seger, uncle, Dwight (Lou) Seger and special friend, Alena LaLonde.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

    So sorry for your loss. He was a good man. I often spoke to him when he volunteered at school functions for his kids. Rest in peace, Timothy. Sending prayers to family and friends.

    So sorry to hear of Tim’s passing! He tried to put on a happy face even when he didn’t feel well!
    During the years I worked in the Cameron library Tim always volunteered to help me especially set up and take down of the book fair. Paul and Elzaddie and family are in my prayers!

    We knew Tim through Bay de Noc Lures and enjoyed talking with him whenever we were there. He was always so kind to us, always had a smile and warm welcome. Tim will be missed.
    So very sorry he is no longer with us on earth, but expect to see him one day when we join him in heaven.

    Tim was and remained a lifelong friend from high school. We didn’t always see eye to eye but accepted each others differences and carried on with that friendship. I was always greeted with a big smile and a huge warm hug I’m gonna miss that. Fly high my dear friend and I’ll see you in the sky. I’m praying for all the family and I am always here for you. All my love to you during this difficult time

    I was so sorry to hear of Tim’s passing, we just talked to him again recently at the Legion while he was waiting for his dear friend to meet him. As his Uncle said, if you knew Tim, you knew him to be just as he was, always willing to help, chat or share a story! RIP dear friend. Hope to meet again on the other side!

    I am so saddened by the passing of Tim. Such a kind soul. Hard working and gave so much to all never asking for anything. Always smiling when you saw him. He will be so missed by many. Thank you to Alana for a true friendship and all you did for him. God bless you Tim.

    I am so sorry to see this. We would often talk after the service at church. He was such a kind and caring man. He would help out wherever he saw a need. I will miss my conversations with him. May God grant his family comfort during this time.

    What I loved about Tim was he always had a hug and a smile. He called me Mom and loved it because he was older. Always willing to help everyone. So many wonderful memories and times shared ❤

    Our dear friend “Timmy” . You were someone I knew I would never forget. The girls and I thank you for welcoming us into your circle of friends and family.     We are spending the winter in Florida and just heard about Timmy’s passing! I met Tim in a bowling league sometime ago. Sure was a great guy. Always said hello to me when he saw me. I used to run into him a couple times a week at the Gladstone Krist oil store and we’d chat awhile! Sure will miss him! Rest in peace Timmy!!
