Thomas “Tom” M. Khollman, age 39, of Rapid River, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2022 at U.P. Health Systems Marquette.

Tom was born on October 25, 1983, in Escanaba, the son of Cathy Khollman and Tom McNutt. Tom was raised in Perkins and was a graduate from Mid Peninsula High School. Following high school, Tom went to work doing storm clean up in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. After returning home, Tom and his dad started their logging company, McNutt and Sons Trucking. In March of 2016, Tom met his fiance Rachael Vandamme. Together they created many wonderful memories, including the birth of their daughter, Rylee Khollman. Tom was a hard worker and he liked to keep himself busy. He was never one to sit around. He loved riding motorcycles, participating in semi truck pulls, camping, boating, and traveling. He also enjoyed participating in the 4th of July drag races in Powers. Tom enjoyed life to the fullest every day and was a kind, generous, loving soul. He truly will be missed by so many.

Tom is survived by his fiance Rachael Vandamme, daughter Rylee Khollman, his parents, brothers Brendan (Danielle) Khollman and Jared (Morgan) Khollman, sisters-in-law Stephanie (Shadd) Sanville and Sarah (Ryan) Vietzke, brothers-in-law Josh Porath and Garland Laverty, mother-in-law Peggy Porath, grandparents Evelyn and Michael Birkholz, and many many other loved ones.

Tom was preceded in death by his cousin Travis Hebert, father-in-law Steve Porath, and grandma Edith McNutt.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 1 PM to 3 PM at Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A time of sharing will conclude services at 3 PM.

    Tom was always a great person. Always had a forward facing perspective to himself he definitely was a busy hard working guy. He will be missed.
