Terry Ann Decker, age 60, of 309 29th Street, passed away peacefully, Saturday evening, April 16, 2011, at her home in Gladstone, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Terry was born September 23, 1950, in Daggett, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Shedore) Decker. She was raised in Powers for several years before moving to Escanaba where she attended and graduated from the Escanaba Senior High School in 1968. Following high school, Terry attended the Patricia-Stevens College in Milwaukee, WI. Terry was employed at Bay de Noc College before going to work, for the State of Michigan, as the manager of Schoolcraft County Programs, finally retiring in June of 2002 after 28 years of employment. Terry enjoyed retirement for a few years eventually accepting a position at Superior Insurance where she worked from 2006 to 2009. Her hobbies included, cooking, cleaning, going for walks, bicycle rides, skiing, bowling and going to the casino with family and friends. Terry was a dear and loving person.
