Suzanne M. Ketcham, age 55, of 513 North 11th Street, Gladstone, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning May 29, 2008, at the St. Francis Hospital following complications of an abdominal aneurysm.Sue was born January 25, 1953, in Escanaba, the daughter of Lawrence and Barbara (Garvey) Johnson. Sue was raised, the majority of her adolescent years, in Gladstone where she attended the Gladstone school system. Following school, Sue married Ron Ketcham Sr. and together the couple relocated to Chicago, for a short period of time, before returning to Gladstone to make their home and continue to raise their family. Sue was employed for the Pine Haven Rest Home in Gladstone. She enjoyed relaxing with her cats, Clair, Francis and Noah (whom Sue would fondly refer to as “Mischief”) and spending quality time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

Even we don’t see you both as often. My memory of your mother is her laugh and smile. I was little when we left Gladstone. My mom kept me up date on everybody where about. I’m sorry about her pass on. My heart goes out to you both.

I will never forget when me and my children lived across the street from Sue, Ronnie, & Lisa. Sue & I would visit back & forth and she always had a cup of coffee ready and time to visit, whether it was advice from a friend or just to get together and have a good laugh. When we moved, although Sue & I didn’t get together as often, we still remained friends. When we seen each other in the store,she always had a hug for me.
