Steven M Graham, age 56, of Gladstone, MI. passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in Joliet, IL. on September 10, 2015.

Steve was born on February 12, 1959 in Clarkston, Michigan. In 1970 Steve and his family moved to Gladstone, MI where he would remain a resident until his death.
Steve attended Gladstone High School and following high school enlisted in the Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1983. Upon his discharge he returned to Gladstone where he would marry and raise his family. He was very proud of his service and would continue to tell stories of this time throughout his life.
Steve held various jobs throughout his life including logging, construction, mechanics/auto repair, environmental work, railroad yard work and was finally employed with Haverfield Aviation, Inc. where he leaves many co-workers who were also his friends.
During his younger years, Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman. Many of his days were filled by preparing for the hunt and sharing his love for the outdoors with his children. Steve created many great memories that will last a lifetime for his surviving friends and family.
Later in life Steve would adore and be equally adored by his grandchildren. Papa Steve loved spending time teaching, sharing his love for reading, and playing with his grandchildren. He would always go out of his way to make time for a trip to the ice cream store, popcorn and movie night, or a trip to the book store with them. His grandchildren will always remember what a loving, dedicated, and generous grandfather he was.
Friends and family will remember Steve as a caring and devoted man who always had the best intentions. He was always there to lend a hand when it was needed but especially enjoyed helping with house renovations or repairs and automotive work.

Steve was preceded in death by his Mother (Betty McKenzie), Father (Rex Graham), and Brother (Dan Graham).

Steve is survived by and will be deeply missed by his Step-Mother: Marlene Graham. Brothers : Larry (Donna) Graham, Jeff (Theresa) Graham. Children: Jennifer (Heber Garcia) Graham, Elizabeth (Jason) Hurkman. Grandchildren: Paiton, Lily, Gabriel, Raegan, Ashlyn, and Dayton
