Dear Leroux and family,
I was sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. We served together several times on the Cursillo teams at Marygrove where he was a true witness of Christ’s love for others. Steve not only told of his faith, he lived it. His Christian perseverence in the midst of illness has been, and will continue to be, an inspiration to others. “Well done good and faithful servant”. You and your family will be in my prayers and I know you will be in the prayers of many others. Draw on those prayers to give you support and comfort in the days ahead knowing that Steve has now entered into the life that we all look forward to.
Blessings and peace to you and your family.

I am still emotionally raw from the honor and opportunity to witness and participate in the celebration of Stephen’s life yesterday. What a tremendous and very profound spiritual experience! We thank God for Stephen’s life and extend our deepest sympathy.

Having grown up with the Strom family, I was very sad when I heard of Mr. Strom’s passing. He is such a good human being who has always found a way to put a smile on someones face. As a kid, I always remember him being there with a joke, a smile and a big hug. He had nicknames for everyone and always referred to me as either Erin Jean or Erin Jeannie. I’m sure he would be greatly amused that last name is now Dean.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know that your love and faith in GOD will help you through your grief. Mr. Strom’s life is truely worth celebrating.
Love to you all.

The world – and all of us who knew Steve – are better off because of his time with us. Steve’s faith, strength, and inner peace truly set the standard for showing all of us how to live our lives.
I am honored to have known Steve and his family; he will be missed by many. God’s Peace to you all.

Our family only got to know Steve for such a short time when my sister Renee met Thad. But what an impact one person in one incredible family can have. We all considered him a true friend and Christian example to help us all. My thoughts are with everyone in the incredible Strom family.

Dear Leroux and family:
We are unable to be with you to share in the celebration of Steve’s life today, but please know that you are in our prayers. We will always remember Steve’s faithful service during the Keryx weekends, and especially his smile, great big hugs, and gifts of flowers for the kitchen crew…he will be greatly missed. God has surely welcomed one of His special children home!

To Leroux and family, I am so sorry to hear about Steve’s passing. I always liked Steve even though we never had a chance to really get to know each other. I am glad he was a believer in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. God bless you Leroux.
