I just wanted to send my condolences to Dorothy and Chrissy (who probably don’t remember me) – but I sure enjoyed spending time with you all!! My dad, Jim Lueneburg, was close with Shirley through the years, and I used to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bridgeman in Menominee – and also stayed many overnights with Shirley out in Gladstone. Chrissy was just a baby and I really enjoyed her. She was actually the first baby that I ever changed a diaper on. If you remember me and want to get in touch – I’m on Facebook under Tori Lueneburg Rabitoy and my email address is rabs817@sbcglobal.net. I’m so sorry and SUPER SHOCKED at Shirley’s passing. I wish I’d of knowns she was in Escanaba – I’d of visited her. My children go to school at Holy Name and I’m there daily – right next door to the St. Jude house. I’m sorry for what you’re going through, and may God be with you and your family through this rough time.

Shirley and I were best of friends in our school day years. We shared the love of horses together, and just had great times. I remember when Chrissy was born and all of our kids played together. We had great times riding motorcycles and dancing to the Beach Boys Reunion band. We went our seperate ways in our adult lives, but would always keep in contact here and there. I will never forget the rides we took, you on Misty and I on Champ. You were always so full of life. I will never forget our time together, I will miss you. Rest peacefully and God be with you. Love you girlfriend, Cheryl
