Shirley H. St. Cyr, age 81 of 2701 1st Avenue South, Escanaba, passed away Friday morning August 2, 2013 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.

Shirley was born December 4, 1931 in Escanaba the daughter of Simon and Myrtle (Anderson) Wellman.

Shirley was a home/health care provider for many years in the area until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Anne Catholic Church, Escanaba VFW #2998 and a RSVP volunteer. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, playing cards and knitting.

Shirley was a loving, caring and giving person. She loved to spend time with her family especially her grand children and great grandchildren. Shirley will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

Sons: David (Patricia) St. Cyr of Gladstone and Donald (Alberta) St. Cyr Sr. of Wilson

Brother: John (Marilyn) Wellman of Brampton

Sisters: Merley Jensen of Escanaba and Betsy (Tom) Lancour of Escanaba

Sisters-in-law: Rita Wellman of Wells and Beverly Wellman of Escanaba

Grandchildren; Janelle (Jessie) Brown, Utah, Myron (Maria) St.Cyr, Florida, Donald St.Cyr Jr, Jamie (Ashley) St.Cyr, William (Rose) St.Cyr all of Wilson.

Eleven Great grand children and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, her husband William on April 3, 1971, daughter, Deborah Anne on May 31, 1965, sisters, Eleanor, Vivian, Joyce, brothers, Clayton, Harvey, William and Robert preceded Shirley in death.
