Shirley was a very special fun loving person. We remember how she would stop by Mickey & Larry’s every Sunday morning after Mass to visit and have her morning coffee. Whenever we were there we always enjoyed her visits. I (Laura) remember when I was asked to join the cousins and friends on their trips to Las Vegas. What a fun time we all had. Even though the last several years have been difficult for Shirley and her family, we know she will always have a special place in our hearts & memories.

Shirley was such a warm, kind and generous person to Gretchen’s friends. And boy, was she patient! Whether it was driving the girls to out of town games or school dances, she always made herself available to quietly listen and make you feel so important . She was such a “cool” mom. I feel blessed to have known her. God’s peace.
Sharon, sorry that we won’t be able to be there with you, but know that you and the family are in our thoughts. Your mom was one heck of a strong lady!
So sorry for the loss of your dear mother Gretchen and Sharon. So many memories, I feel like we hung around with Shirley as much as you-all 🙂 Gretchen–do you remember the drag race back from a game in Menominee when we passed you with our headlights off? Can’t make stuff like that up….God bless Shirley and all her family, take care girls.

Sharon and family,
May previous memories sustain you. I cherish my own memories of the many good times with the family from years past.
