Sherry Ann Johnson, age 61, of Escanaba passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 24, 2016.
Sherry was born July 16, 1955 in Manistique, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Bromund) Peterson. She was united in marriage to Ronald Johnson on June 27, 1981 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba. Sherry enjoyed going for rides and looking for deer, Word-Find Puzzle books, watching scary movies, listening to music, getting her scratch off lottery tickets and spending time with her family.

Sherry is survived by her husband, her daughter, Stacey (Chad Burie) Johnson of Escanaba, her mother, Dorothy Peterson of Escanaba, her adopted granddaughter, Alexis Isaacson, her brother, Robert Peterson of Cheboygan, MI, her sisters, Nancy (Steve) Tufnell of Escanaba and Cindy Markham of Gladstone and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Peterson, her sister, Jamie Lynn Humbert and her brother, Larry Allen Peterson.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Sherry will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery

    Ron and Stacey, you have our deepest sympathy. Sherry and my husband (Ron) went to dialysis every Monday, Wednesday, Friday for the past 10 years. She spoke often of her trips to the casino with Stacey, and the fun time she had. She will be missed. Her suffering is over, Rest in Peace Sherry! Ron and Patricia Carlson
