Sherrie Lippens, age 51, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Trillium House in Marquette.

Sherrie was born October 14, 1968, in Detroit, MI the daughter of Billy and Barbara (Tracey) Goard.

Sherrie loved gardening and decorating her yard with flowers, and was a great cook. She enjoyed cruising on the Harley with her beloved husband, Steve, and camping with her family. On May 5, 1990, Sherrie was united in marriage to Steve Lippens, at St. Joseph Church in Perkins, and together the couple made their home and raised their only daughter Mallory, in Gladstone. Also, Sherrie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and lovable cat, Buddy. She especially enjoyed cruising with the top down on her 93 oldsmobile cutlass.

In addition to her Father, Billy Goard of Greenland, MI, Sherrie is survived by:
Daughter: Mallory (Chris) Micheau of Escanaba, MI
Brother: Tim (Julie) Goard of Mass City, MI
2 Sisters: Pam (Brian) Green of Mass City, MI
Karen (Dan Verbrigghe) Sitko of Rock, MI
3 Brother-In-Laws: Jim (Bonnie) Lippens, Tom (Bev) Lippens. Don (Cathy) Radlein
2 Sister-In-Laws: Sharon (Jerry) Maki, Vicki (Tony) Demeuse
And several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins

In addition to her Mother, Barbara Goard, Sherrie was preceded in death by:
Loving Husband: Steve Lippens
Sister-In-Law: Carol Radlein
Father-In-Law: Bennie (Mary) Lippens
Mother-In-Law: Theresa Lippens

Family will receive friends Monday, October 19, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Closing Prayer will follow visiting hours at 4:00 PM. Sherrie will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery.

    So sorry to hear. Sherrie was a kind and loving person. My Mom, Ruth Lippens passed away the same day. Her funeral is Friday.
