Sandra Kay (Thorbahn) Baur, age 61, of Gladstone passed away Wednesday evening August 5, 2009 at home following a lengthy illness with cancer.
Sandra was born September 10, 1947 in Escanaba the daughter of Ralph and Zeta (Ross) Thorbahn. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

2 daughters; Bobbie (Wally Seppanen) Baur of Gladstone and Beckie (Charles) Rowan of Eastpointe, MI
4 sons; Dennis Baur of Birmingham, MI, Richard (Debbie) Baur of Garden City, MI, Donald Baur of Westland, MI and Randy Baur of Clio, MI.
1 brother; Henry (Kaylen) Thorbahn of Wells, MI
4 grandchildren; Brandon Crawford, Kyle Rowan, Bradley Crawford and Zachary Rowan.
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Steven Baur, 2 brothers, Ralph and Roy Thorbahn, 2 sisters, Darlene DeBacker and Marletta Feher.
Graveside services celebrating the life of Sandra Baur will be held on Saturday August 8, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
