Rudolph Michael Kozar, age 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, May 14, 2014, at his home in Escanaba, surrounded by his loving family.
Rudy was born May 27, 1929, in Wells, the son of Ignatz and Barbara (Smokovich) Kozar. He was raised and attended school, in Wells. In 1946, Rudy enlisted in the United States Army Air Corp. He later went on to re-enlist in the United State Air Force where he served until his honorable discharge in 1953. On January 8, 1955, Rudy was united in marriage to the former Mary Ann Lund, at St. Bridgette Catholic Church in Hobart, Indiana.
