Dale, Sally & Family,You are in our thoughts and prayers. There is a void left when a parents passes from us but as christians we know that we will be with them again.
We will always remember all the times that we “bumped into” your Mom & Dad at Iola and other car things. It was always pleasurable to share the old cars with them. But the most important memory will be when your Dad rescued us with the fan blade for our Model A, his help was much appreciated!

    Our sympathty,
    Rosie & Paul King

Our condolances to Eleanore, Dale, Sally and extended family and friends. I have good memories of Mr. Weingartner from childhood days spent in Rock at my grandparents – Paul and Olga Ramseth. They were next door neighbors. I always loved the Halloween decorations that Mr. W. did, his work on classic cars – including getting a ride in one now and then including the Labor Day parade – and he and Eleanore just being very kind to my brother and I as we visited Rock and my grandparents.
Rest in peace Mr. Weingartner – may you be greeted by a calvacade of classic cars and old friends including my grand parents driving them!

It was an honor for me to have had a small part in the care of Bob. He was such a kind gentleman. I was amazed at the stories he told us of the war and his memory. He spoke very highly of you, his family. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Stop in and visit us sometime.

Roman and I could write many columns about our dear friend and Rock neighbor Bob Weingartner. I being Gayle grew up next door to him and baby sat his 2 children. Carol is my godchild. Bob and my dad were in business for a time together in Rock, Norge Appliances. Our family life improved because of it.
Roman was always impressed with Bob in that he was a 100% supporter of his teaching and coaching years in Rock. We both moved away from Rock about the same time so our visits were probably on Rocks Labor Day. We especially remember being with them on their 50th wedding anniversary at their son Dale. We know Bob had service connected health problems most of the time we knew him. God Bless Bob.

A more caring neighbor for my parents and us children could not be found. Both Bob and Eleanor would smile and give us hugs as we moved into our cottage on Little Lake. He will be missed. He was a fine man. May he finally rest in a peaceful and painless sleep.
    Hugs to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my ham radio friend. I always enjoyed talking to Bob whether in person or on the radio. I knew Bob had been in pain for sometime due to war injuries but he seldom shared this with people. Bob was a real gentleman and I will miss him.
