I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire family.
I worked with Bob for many years at Town & Country. He always had a smile on his face, and a joke to share with his co-workers and customers.

He has a much larger audience now. I’m sure he’s keeping them in stitches.

    God Bless

Words cannot express how sorry we were to hear of Uncle Bob’s passing. He always had a smile on his face and was quick to tell a joke or story to make everyone laugh. He really helped Jason and I with our father’s passing and said many wonderful things about him. We will never forget his kindness. He will be greatly missed. I know things seem miserable right now but it does get better with every passing day. All our love and prayers go out to your family.

It won’t be the same. Bob was always the life of a party. One of the kindest men I will ever know. He could make you laugh even when you were having a awful day. His smile lit up a room. A great loss on earth, one tremendous addition to heaven. Our thoughts are with your family, Bob.

Randy, Donna, Linda and family, so sorry to hear about your dad. He leaves a big void in our family! Such a good and caring person always. He will be missed terribly! I found this prayer and thought it might comfort you as I know he went so fast! God bless you all and know you are in our thoughts and prayers! Darlene, Cliff and family Goodbye

    I always took for granted,
what I thought I’d never lose.
Because I never thought it would happen,
    until I heard the news.
They say you were chosen for his garden,
    His preciously hand picked bouquet.
    “God really needed him,
    That’s why he couldn’t stay.”

    Saying goodbye is never easy,
It’s the hardest thing to do.
But what hurts me even more
Is not the chance to say it to you.

So today, Jesus, as you are listening
    in your home above;
Would you go and find my dad,
And give him all my love!

This is so sad for me to even read, when I was told it didn’t really hit me until I saw the photo on this site, then tears streamed down my face, just so difficult to believe that he is gone, Bobbie, the great story teller and humorous guy, the strong son/brother; who so lovingly related stories for his brother Ritch and Uncle Walter just a few months ago at their funerals, Bobbie, you will be so missed by everyone who knew you, and I offer prayers to everyone in the family, I am so sorry for your loss, and our family’s loss! Too many, too young! I love you all!

We’re still in disbelief. Bob was part of all of our “family” in Stonington. We are so blessed to have had known Bob and to have shared so many memorable times with him. Always a smile, a joke, he had a comforting way about him that made everyone feel a part of whatever it was he was doing. So many precious….fun, memories. Swedish Lip locks! Always with that laugh and twinkle in his eye. His raw dog… his great love for his family and dedication to the Stonington Community. The King of the Horseshoe crew. He will so sadly and very lovingly be missed by us all. We love you, Bob, and Bob’s Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as we share this loss of such a wonderful man.

What an unexpected and sad loss this is! But we will all remember Bob with a smile. His crazy jokes and his Swedish quotes made everyone feel welcome, and laugh – and that is truly a gift. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is mourning the loss of a dear friend, father and grandfather.
