I was saddened to read of Dick’s passing. I knew him years ago when I lived in Eben Jct. and he owned The Silver Dollar. He was truly one of the “good guys”. We once attended a country music concert together at the fair grounds in Escanaba and did many other things as well as talk to each other in the Silver Dollar. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help. I always considered him a friend. Sincere condolences.

    Joanie and family,
My deepest sympathies go out to you in this time of sadness in your life. I’m sure Dick will be fondly remembered for a long time for being the kind, careing person he was. Please accept my condolences.

Dear Joan, I was so shocked to hear of Richard’s passing. Traci from UPCAP let me know. I guess we knew his heart was bad, but he was doing so good. My condolences to you and your family. I hope your grandson will be able to get over being there when Richard had his heart attack. It is hard for children to understand. My prayers are with you. Sincerely, Julie
