Richard A. Deno Sr., age 74, passed away late evening, Wednesday April 21, 2021, at his home in Pine Ridge, surrounded by his loving family.

Dick was born October 02, 1946, in Escanaba, the son of Fredrick and Germaine (Farmer) Deno. He was raised in Pine Ridge and attended Escanaba Schools. Dick was employed for many years for Jaeger Brothers Construction Company. On January 27, 1997, Dick was united in marriage to the former Laurie Kutchenberg and together the couple made their home in Pine Ridge. Some of Dick’s favorite past-times were hunting, going to hunting camp, camping with his wife Laurie and simply enjoying the outdoors.

In addition to his loving wife Laurie, Dick is survived by:
Children: Richard (Tammy)Deno Jr., Robert Deno, Ronald (Tammy) Winters,
Brenda Cilc and Stacey (Bill) Martinson
Sisters: Darlene (Tom) Benoit and Cathy (Pat) Kidd
Brothers in law: Rick (Sue) Kutchenberg and Jon (Debbie) Kutchenberg

He is further survived by his 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Germaine:
Brothers: Fred and Danny Deno

Dick’s family will receive friends on Saturday, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. A closing prayer will be conducted at 3:00PM. Dick’s family would like to extend a warm hearted thank you to U.P. Health and Hospice for their exceptional care. His family would also like to thank friends and family for their support and love. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting with arrangements.
