Some of my best memories are of the time we had with Ray on the Congregational Church Youth Choir Trips. Traveling with Ray & Karen and 15-20 kids from 3rd to 7th grade. Those kids brought the love of Christ thru their songs for many many people. Ray was always there with the biggest smile and his big bear chest puffing out so proudly of them all. He has touched many lives and many of those kids, who are now young adults, have told me those were the best experiences and memories of their youth. Thank you Ray for being there showing the love of Christ to us all.

The Gundy family holds many memories of good times together with Ray and the Pratt family at our farm or at Uncle Roscoe and Aunt Lorraines family home. There was lots of fun, food, activity and good times. Ray will be remembered as a kind man with a twinkle in his eye and a ready smile. My sympathies to the family on this loss.

Ray and Karen are two beautiful people. I bet the Choir in heaven will enjoy his added talents. I send hugs and love to the family.
My schedule does not allow me to be there personally for you today. I’m so sorry. I wish I could be in two places at once. Know that heart is there.

Although it has been many years, my thoughts of Ray are vivid and still make me smile. I remember how much he enjoyed life. May your beautiful memories of him give you strength in the coming days.

Ray was my cousin. My mom was Dorothy Deloria (Gray). I didn’t know him very well unfortunately; reading the comments of others on here made me feel like I really missed out on knowing a fine person. I do remember vaguely times having seen him and with those memories I get a nice feeling, the kind you get remembering a person you liked.
Anyway…my condolences. We miss our loved ones so much when they are gone. I pray for strength and comfort for your family during this time of loss.

I have many great memories with my Gramps, like when he use to take us four wheeling back though the wetlands and we would look for beaver dams. I use to have so much fun doing that.
Or when we use to go for “light rides” around Christmas time and listen to old Elvis Christmas songs. I loved that.
Or when he would help us make dream catchers and he would give us the beads all the while telling us stories or giving advise.
Being with Gramps was so comforting, his big arms and great hugs, who could forget his huge smile and the love he showed.
I love you very much Gramps, I know you’re in heaven smiling down.
