so sorry Jo, Kelly and John and family for your loss. He was a great guy and you both were our good friends. I had the honor of singing with Dave who had a beautiful voice. We look back to when we were all young and with young children which seems not that long ago. Time seems to fly by. The last time Bill talked with Dave was several yrs ago at the Green Bay Hospital when I was having a third knee replacement and Jo was having her knee replaced. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.

My mother and I had the good pleasure to become friends with Dave and Joetta when he was at Christian Park. Many afternoons they would come sit with us when we helped feed my dad who was also a resident there.
Dave found out I was a fellow NMU band alumni, and told me he once had to march with a sousaphone so they would have 8 of them to spell “wildcats” even though he played clarinet. He also once told me about growing up with ancestors of the actual Gipper George Gipp in Laurium. And stories about working at grocery stores, I believe the old A & P’s.
I’m glad we got to know him, a very nice man who loved to tell stories.
