My thoughts and prayers are with you guys during this time. Your mom will be missed, she was such a special person that meant so much to so many including myself. I can still hear her chuckle and laughter like it was yesterday and her heart felt advice in how to deal with life. In good times and bad she always had a smile. Hugs and Prayers!!!!

Paula was a 2nd mother to just about every kid who had the pleasure of spending time with her family, I was lucky enough to born into relation with her, as well as called her “Ma” for a period of time. I (as well as many others) loved her dearly, and her sense of humor and “tell-it-like-it-is” mentality will certainly leave a void in my life. To Jack, Jamie, Rusty, Dani, Joe and Jana: Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are need of anything. I love all of you, and you all will remain in my prayers always.

    Dear Jack and Family,

We are so sorry for Paula’s passing. She was a great mom and grandma. We had a lot of fun throughout the years, and many Rapid River kids benefit from her love for them, as she was always a kind friend to all who knew her. Our 4 sons loved her a lot. Jack, if you need anything, please call.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Smith family. I knew your Mom was in failing health but was shocked to hear her time had come so soon. She will be greatly missed. Paula always took time to stop and talk to you no matter when/where you saw her. She made a point to know her children’s friends and welcome them into her home. She always spoke proudly of her children and spoiled her grandchildren shamelessly. Though these times are not easy, I hope the comfort of the memories she helped make with your family will live with you for years to come. Take care.
