Paul “Buck” D. Deneau, age 67, of Gladstone, passed away at his home. Paul will be interred in the Rapid River Cemetery. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Deneau family.
Paul was a neighbor for many years. We shared many stories as there was always something that needed fixing and he knew just how to do it on a shoestring budget. When the grass got to long he’d say, “meet ya at the lot line”. He was always ready to help, lend a hand, fix a lawn mower (or give us an old one) when it came to keeping up the yards between our houses. He was hilarious at times and loved to tell stories, sing and play music around a campfire (or anywhere for that matter). Buck cared deeply about family and friends even though he had a gruff surface at times. He was tender hearted and helped out so many. In his later years he drew close to God and made great changes. He will leave an indelible place in my families heart and memories. You have entered into your rest Buck-a-roo. You were loved by many and will be missed ❤️ .
Hey Buckaroo,
Just stopped by to see ya. It was around the 8th or10th of July. So sorry I missed you.
I’ve known you since the early 70’s & we’ve been thru some CRAZY times since then. Goodbye my friend. Say hi to Knuppen for me. Would have loved to see THAT reunion. GodSpeed, my friend
Buck was my neighbor for 3 yrs or so. He was the best!! My heart hurts tonight hearing about his passing. I just wished I kept in better contact. He was such a loyal friend to me. I enjoyed listening to his stories. He’d tell me all about his life experiences. I was never bored! He was funny and goofy! And even though he was about 30 yrs older, I could relate to him on so many different levels. Buck was one of a kind and will be forever missed. Love you Buck❤️❤️❤️❤️
