Patricia Duncan

Patricia Ann Duncan, age 74, of Cornell passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Murray’s Country View in Gladstone.

Patricia was born January 16, 1950 in Escanaba, the daughter of George and Eva (LaCarte) Gabrielson. She was raised in Gladstone and graduated from the Gladstone High School in 1968. She worked for the Delta Reporter and First Bank for a brief time following high school. She was united in marriage to Lester Duncan on June 21, 1969 in Fort Worth, Texas. Over the next several years she traveled with Lester to numerous Air Force Bases across the country and Ankara, Turkey while he served in the US Air Force. She eventually returned to the area and she worked as an auditor for Days Inn and desk clerk at OSF St. Francis until she retired.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Lester; her children, Becky (Brent) Clawson of Rancho Cordova, CA, Kelly (Jon) Miller of Gladstone and Lester Duncan III of Gladstone; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Gabrielson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 8 at 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene in Escanaba. Patricia will be laid to rest in the Rapid River Cemetery.
