To all who knew and loved Orville, I send my deepest condolences. Orv and I carpooled to Bay College in the early 80s, took classes, and had some GREAT lunches together. I’ll always remember his smile, his laughter, his sense of humor, and his kind, gentle ways. He was a GEM of a man!!! Rest in peace, old buddy…

    To the family of OG,
He was a very gentle man, who usually had great smile on his face. I know the last few years were hard on him and you. RIP OG, your presence will be missed but, your memories will live on.
    Sincerely,
    Deb G.

I’ll always remember Orville, on our rides to swim at the Flat Rock Bridge, as kids. Six in the back of a pickup truck, to naive to realize these were the best of times. RIP Orv!

A Buddy to many , A lot of Great Memories, My Condolences to the Family Have a Good Journey Buddy.

Orville was my cousin. We got to see him when we went over to his parent’s house.
We got to play together. I was born on his Mother’s birthday so it was special.
He was a good guy. Bless him & his family.

I knew OG for about 50 years and we did a lot together since my wife passed away 5 years ago. He would call just to see what I was up to. I would pick him up a couple times a week just to get him out of his apartment. We would go to Marquette, Manistique and Aurora Wi. to get a good steak or just a good meal. We talked about the old days and laughed at just about everything. We both lost a great friend when Johnny Blair died a few years ago . The three of us were always going to some casino in the U.P. Going to miss your humor and those rides . You beat the odds for 10 years and you looked like you were getting tired. Like the song say’s ” Go rest high on that mountain” Orville. See ya buddy !

Condolences to the family. OG was a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. I have a lot of good memories of OG . RIP OG .

Great man, friend, father. I went to high school with him and he lived down the block for many years raising his family. My son was friends with Joe and Justin. OG was so kind and he enjoyed his life. I am sorry for his family. May they find peace and support in the weeks and years ahead.

RIP Orv. You were a great man and an even greater friend. The stars in the sky are brighter because of you ❤
